Just a little bit about me and my photography style…

Before having children of my own, I only loved a different kind of photography. More often than I am able to now, I would take spontaneous road trips to capture the changing colors of season and such. Once in a while I would get a lucky shot, like the time I captured a hot rod cruising down a bluff lined road with a beautiful valley in the background. After my first son was born, naturally my lens and focus turned toward him. In turn, my inspiration to become a portraiture photographer was as also born. I decided to start Treasures Untold Photography in 2013 and have been blessed to capture many moments in addition to those of my two boys since. I still love road trips and capturing whatever catches my attention.

I believe that everything that is visible is beautiful. The ambition of my work is to capture moments in time to aid in reflection and see the beauty in those moments. To show the true beauty in life, not just what is superficially so. And to preserve memories.

“Photography is about capturing souls not smiles” – Dragan Tapshanov

I am a fan of lifestyle portraiture and photojournalism. In my photo sessions and at events, I love to capture organic, unposed shots. Real moments with real emotion. I also aim to achieve those that are perfectly posed as well to give clients a diverse album. I am not afraid to give direction while making sure everyone is comfortable and having fun.

I want my clients to have gorgeous photos they love.
